Donate to our First Flash Fundraiser

Even as 2010 comes to a close, we’re getting a head start on our New Year’s resolution to find new ways to support programs at the Forsyth County Public Library.

Traditionally the FCPL Friends & Advocates have raised funds to support expanded programming with Used Book Sales. We’re adding a third Sale in 2011, but we’re also looking for new and creative ways to raise money and awareness for the Library’s programs that are also convenient for our donors and patrons.

What’s a Flash Fundraiser?

Lectern for Small Business Programs

Help us raise $400 by December 31, 2010 to purchase this lectern for new and expanded programs for small businesses at the Library.

The idea is to raise funds in a flash for a specific project or need at the library. So, from now until December 31, we’re accepting donations online and by mail to raise $400 for the purchase of a new lectern.

The lectern will be used to support new and existing programming and events for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Guest speakers and presenters will be able to use the lectern during lectures, seminars and workshops to help small businesses in our community learn new ways to grow, create job opportunities and better serve their customers.

Donate Before December 31

If you’d like to support programming for small businesses in our community by helping us provide a lectern for speakers, please click the button below to donate via PayPal ($10 minimum donation, please).

If you’d prefer to mail your donation, please write “Flash Fundraiser: Lectern” in the memo line and make your check payable to:
