Forsyth County Public Library (FCPL) Friends & Advocates exist to support the programs, resources and staff of each branch of the Forsyth County Public Library in its efforts to promote literacy in our community and to encourage residents to visit the library and make full use of its resources and to provide the community access to low cost reading materials.
FCPL Friends & Advocates is an independent not-for-profit organization registered in the State of Georgia and has supported the Library since 1995. Our Friends Bookstore, located in the Cumming branch of the library, and our bigger used book sales are our primary sources of funds. Other funding sources for the FCPL Friends & Advocates include membership fees, monetary and in-kind donations, and special community events.
